Created in 2016, Muster was born from the passion and belief of Paula Roberts.
Having served as an apprentice and completed training through Ministry of Upholstery and J A Milton, Paula has developed a love for colour, textiles and ethnic designs, together with a strong belief in working ethically to support small communities around the world.
The name 'Muster' was chosen as it is a 'gathering or the bringing together' and accurately describes Paula's desire to bring together techniques from around the world.
Paula upcycles Victorian furniture with an an Ethnic twist and also does commissions for painting furniture and upholstery.
The customer is central to the process of transformation from their vision to the completed piece.
Choosing fabrics is always a joy.
Stripping the furniture is hard work and enjoyable and it reveals what's beneath even down to the lost sticky toffee wrappers, old coins and dusty mints,
All work is completed to a high standard and meets all current Fire Regulations.
Footstools, Ottomans and Floor cushions are made at Muster to the customers specification.
